New Orthopedic and Sports Medicine
Surgeon Joins Kessler Staff

     Brad Bernardini, MD, has joined the Medical Staff of Kessler Memorial Hospital, according to an announcement by Michael Gonnella, President/CEO.  A graduate of Bucknell University, Dr. Bernardini completed pre-medical graduate studies at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia and earned a medical degree at Rush Medical School, Chicago, Illinois.

    In addition, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Connecticut and a sports medicine fellowship at Taos Orthopedic, Taos, New Mexico.

     Dr. Bernardini has joined the South Jersey Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Vineland where his father Joseph Bernardini, MD and Seth Silver, MD are associates.

    Dr. Brad Bernardini has been published in his field and has been honored for academic achievement.  A sports team enthusiast, he has served as team physician for the New Mexico Highlands University Football Team and the Simbury High School Football Team, and the associate team physician for the United States Ski Team.  He was also a teaching assistant at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

    He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Society for Sports Medicine, the Wilderness Medical Society and the International Society of Arthroscopy Sports Medicine.

    Dr. Bernardini has an active interest in wildlife and the environment and is an avid alpine skier, mountain biker, whitewater kayaker and scuba diver, as well as a competitive triathlon runner.
