HAMMONTON—On January 20, Congressman Frank A. LoBiondo (R-2nd) announced that
the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Kessler Memorial Hospital were
creating a new partnership to deliver acute care to the veterans of southern New
Jersey in addition to servicing the general population’s health care needs.
“After five very long and tortuous years working with my colleagues, I’m proud
to announce that we’re bringing acute in-patient and out-patient care to South
Jersey. This is a significant first step. We hope to use this as a springboard
to help provide better health care to our veterans in southern New Jersey. We
live in the greatest nation on the earth because of our veterans,” LoBiondo
said.
